Just some fun things i did over xmas, just about back into it once ruby is back at school! Big spring clean this year, My shed needed a makeover .......... end result anything i hadn't used for 2 years has gone, gave alot of fabric back to the op shops, hopeing it will inspire other people out there to create and make!

This year at The beadhold i will be hosting my first ever "bead a holic" term time fortnightly meeting we sit and make or remake jewellery and eat cake!! Im a big fan of recycling old jewellery!So have big plans will show you on the journey, first is starting this blog and using it!!!

First ever Freakey Frienz Workshop!!!!!!!!!

You guys all ROCK!!!! you did so well and created AWESOME Frienz!!!!!!

I'm going to do more of these workshops as it gives back the knowledge of creating something from nothing. It will be for you older kids too!

Im looking into a venue, i'll supply buttons and know how & you guys can create anything from a Bag charm, necklace, brooch, hair clip or braclet! Two hour lesson @ $65 including buttons (note buttons will not be vintage they are made "today" buttons but come in classic designs as vintage does):)let me know if your interested!

Well another month flys by...................Summer, Christmas will be on its way before you know it!

My creative flow is rocking along, it helps being around The Beadhold (Point Chevalier) where i work part time all the creative fellow workers and customers come in with new concepts or jewellery which inspirers yet another idea.......... These hot little numbers like the one above are about to enter the accessory section on website.......A large black button as a base...silver quilt pin on back and cute little plastic buttons adore the front, then the little hairclip, so when you take your jacket or cardi off you still have some bling on!

Freaks are coming along nicely with a skippingholic freakey and another who bit her hand off well eating cake.........just so happens she is dressed up like Marie Antonette!

HOt new news, Been very busy with life and been trying to spend as much time as i can being creative we are now on www.toggle.co.nz in the children section a selection of much larger Freaks as we need to have a standard size through this website with the instant converter! Mums on there also under lily brown and she has been ever so busy crocheteing her rugs with more to come. We have been working on a freak whale which i will post some photos of soon. Been changing my bags slightly with new charms and jewellery is on its way.......thank goodness school holidays are all most over........i love the first week, but come the second week im over it!! Loved kung Fu panda.....as turtle said... yesterday is history, tommorow is a mystery, today is a gift that is why its called the present!!!!!!
