2009 to 2011 a year of much hardship and life changing events and only a year and a half later can i report in! But through all the hardship and life learning curves i still made me FREAKS, they came on my journey............Hoot Owls have made a appearence lots of yummy stuff has been simmering away. Im just makingtea so will come back on later:)

Its been a long winter here at Freakey Frienz. tim and Miss ruby have been at Kraft Bomb- miss ruby sells her wears every month and ive been at The Bead Hold in Pt Chev picking extra hours where i can. Have been to Ponsonby Market and now with the longer days happerening its a must do on a Saturday morning, i'll be out back of market with fellow designers so come check us out Nxt to Macy home on Ponsonby Rd 9-4 Sat only-if raining i won't be there!:)

BIG SHOUT TO MY MUM....Lilly brown, in Viva this week and we sold her first amazing crochete rug the white and colourful one at market last week!

Kraft Bomb is this weekend so make sure you go and see Tim and Miss ruby!

Heres a idea for you to play with, grab old necklace or actually anything with a flat surface that needs a new lease of life..

1.Have spray paint ready in colour desired-i always go for high gloss finish!

Then find holey fabric as shown here, fishnet tights, a paper dollie anything with a holey pattern- i ended up laying plastic chain over mine

2. lay over item and spray - Note if you want a sold colour don't disturb let dry then reapply.

3.Then once dry, take off what you have used to make pattern and wala!

Finish off with clear coat of clear lacquar- buy in can form or a paint can from any hardware store!
